We're already in October. I don't know how that happened. I started a regular day job, since starting this site, as a result the business is no where near where I wanted it to be by now, nearly a year later. But, upwards and onwards!
I did write a Christmas blog that never made it onto the site. Hopefully you all get to read this one!
September is always a time of reflection and intentions. It maybe just because the children are back in school and I've been getting them organized. It makes me realize that I need to get myself organized! Now, I will have a little bit of time to myself while they are in school. The long lazy days of summer are over and the early mornings of making lunches and getting everyone out the door on time have started again.
Every September I find it hard to get into a creative practice again. I feel stumped and at a loss on how to use my time while the children are at school. Despite having a long to do list, I find it overwhelming and I don't know where to start. I'm sure I'm not the only one who struggles with this.
I've gone back to two online creative courses I started in the spring and never finished. They are good ways to turn on that creative brain again, help to get things going and be inspired to just get started. Creativity really is a practice and needs to be done regularly and there will be lots of mistakes. Sometimes the magic is in the mistakes.
Wishing you all a creative and cozy fall!
